Notice the little "ugh oh" in the bottom right hand corner...very important to take notice of that, but WILL BE explained. And yes...I finally decided to reveal my face! lol, that photo is actually my weibo avatar pic~
Anyways, if you don't know, Weibo is this Chinese micro-blogging site that works like Twitter!
Yayyy, it's a really great way to come into contact with China since we all know how the Chinese government restricts certain types of social media (cough cough, Facebook)...and it connects people from China together...and I have a bunch of friends there so I decided to give it a try!
I'm going to list the PROS and CONS of it to make my experience a little more brief. I will put out there that I usually have extreme difficulties navigating even the EASIEST sites, so this was of course a challenge.
  PROS:
- really cute and way more fun than Twitter (trust me on this one)
- fun apps on the site with GAMES. Oh my gosh, GAMES FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! 8'DD (I <3 games)
- really nice and funny people on there!
- ***EXTREMELY USEFUL since you can use your weibo account to access enhanced features for many chinese programs such as 美图秀秀which I will discuss probably in future posts (BEAUTIFUL editing program). I love it, I use it more than any other program on my computer AND IT'S FREE!
-phone app (iphone AND android) is a life-saver...literally since it is in english!
CONS:
Well here comes the explaination for the "ugh oh.."
- IT'S ALL IN CHINESE.Sure you can use the google translate toolbar on chrome to work things out but language really is a barrier.I have BASIC chinese skills that don't really get me far on the site, lol.
- I honestly have no clue what I'm doing on it. I click all over the place, "follow people" but I'm not sure sure myself how to get followers. I've got a couple now, but I have no clue how I got them
  See, this is what I mean when I say it's "cute"! It's also very asian  (pfft, I wonder why...)

Yes, my username is 小乐了兔 which means "small happy rabbit" in Chinese, please don't ask.
There are TONS of users on this site and I spent a good 10 minutes trying to find a username that was available. I used english of course, but there are a lot of Americans that are also on the site, which makes it super interesting! Weibo has SO MANY members on it...the number is super ridiculous! Will I be active on it? Hopefully. I'm not really good at "posting statuses" on Facebook and I don't have a Twitter, but I hope!
